FORMA Showroom

A SCROLL-DRIVEN LUXURY FURNITURE SHOWROOM YOU WALK THROUGH

CONCEPT BRAND · DESIGN EXPERIMENT 2026 FICTIONAL_BRAND

THE SITE ISN'T A CATALOGUE FOR THE HOUSE. THE HOUSE IS THE CATALOGUE.

OVERVIEW

FORMA is a concept furniture brand with one idea at its core: instead of scrolling through a grid of products, you walk through a home that's furnished entirely from the collection. The page opens outside a golden-hour villa; scrolling carries you through the entrance into the living room, the dining room, the bedroom, and a gallery of the collections, before pulling back for a final wide view at dusk. Scroll position is the only animation driver. The journey plays forward and backward at exactly the pace of your thumb.

Commerce is layered onto the walkthrough rather than separated from it. Product hotspots sit on the actual furniture in each room (the sofa, the pendant, the wardrobe) and open cards with INR pricing, dimensions, materials and enquiry actions. A nine-piece shop mirrors the walkthrough one-to-one: everything tappable in a room is buyable, and nothing else is. Navigation stays accessible throughout, so no one is forced through the cinematic to reach a product.

The craft is in the details: the seven room scenes are AI-generated photoreal renders held together by a byte-identical Architectural Digest-style prompt preamble, so they read as one house in one light. The nav and collection cards are real-refraction "liquid glass": a vendored WebGL library, patched to sample a live canvas of whichever room is currently behind them. The build degrades gracefully: reduced-motion users get still crossfades, phones get a simplified experience, and the architecture is pre-wired for a fully scroll-scrubbed cinematic video chain as its next phase.
